Work

My research focuses on juvenile justice and community-based services for youth and families involved in child-serving systems.

For more than fifteen years, I have worked as a research partner to the Maryland Department of Juvenile Services (DJS), leading evaluation efforts across the juvenile justice continuum. This work has included detention, intake and case processing, policies and practices for adjudicated youth, and the programs and services available to system-involved youth and families.

My work includes study design, administrative data analysis, program evaluation, implementation, and translating findings into useful information for agency leaders and practitioners.
